Law Office of D. Scott Perrine

Prior to starting his own law practice, Mr. Perrine served as an Assistant District Attorney for the City of Philadelphia from 2004 to 2007. While serving as an Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Perrine was one of the few attorneys in the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office to practice in both the appellate and trial divisions of the office. During his tenure, Mr. Perrine prosecuted over sixty appellate cases before the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Courts. Additionally, Mr. Perrine prosecuted thousands of cases at trial in the Court of Common Pleas and Municipal Court.

In 2003, before joining the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, Mr. Perrine served as a law clerk for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee. While on the committee, his work focused on class action reform, asbestos litigation reform, and preparing presidential judicial nominees for committee hearings prior to their appointment to the federal bench.

Mr. Perrine received his law degree from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. While in law school, Mr. Perrine was President of the Moot Court Honor Society, a Chadwick Constitutional Law Fellow, and the recipient of the Graham Foundation Award. Mr. Perrine received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where his studies focused on economics and political science.
